Yoga makes your physical body stronger. What does it do to your mental state?

Take a look at the article by Dr. Deborah Khoshaba.  She states yoga is a great regeneration tool for your mind, body, and spirit.  She writes, “Yoga’s positive benefits on mental health have made it an important practice tool of psychotherapy (American Psychological Association). It has been shown to enhance social well being through a sense of belonging to others, and improve the symptoms of depression, attention deficit and hyperactivity, and sleep disorders.”

So, we know yoga helps your mental state.  Why, though?  Yoga helps our mental state by serving as a cognitive behavior therapy as proven by Stockholm University.  Stress Management: A Randomized Study of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Yoga, conducted in the Department of Psychology and Centre for Health Equity Studies (CHESS), Stockholm University used randomized experimental design and proved yoga made significant improvements in stress reduction.  The results indicated that yoga is a promising stress management technique.

So, men and women can improve mental fortitude by serving as verified therapy. Come get your stress reduction at hi yoga etc. as our rates are just as kind as our instructors. Whether your first class or this is your return to the mat, yoga is ready. Like the people from the Stockholm Yoga Study, we do not have time to waste.  The participants all were from demanding backgrounds full of stress.  High-stakes offices and managing the variables of home and family, all participants shared a common response, improved mental conditioning.
